Just had my AKAI GX 630D serviced by M2 Circuits and I could not be more pleased. This fine gentleman is well versed, extremely knowledgeable and experienced in everything related to reel-to-reel. WELL DONE and THANK YOU!!

The Mini Fuss has by far become my favourite pedal on my board! It packs a really smooth fuzz that breaks up perfectly as you roll the volume on giving me almost any fuzz tone I’m looking for. Gives me a tone my vintage Big Muff could never dial in at a quarter of the size! Love it!

  1. Maurizio isn’t just a pedal builder, he’s also a guitarist with amazing chops and incredible ears. He tweaks each pedal like only a true guitar player can, coaxing out the best possible tones with every circuit. He puts his heart and soul into everything that he does, and these pedals are no different, so if you’re looking for top-notch pedals and hands-on customer service, look no further than M2!

  2. I have had work done by M2 Circuits and could not be more happy. Very professional and easy to work with. Will be returning again for other repairs I need done. Keep up the good work.

  3. Maurizio serviced my beloved Teac x1000r, reel to reel, replaced the belt, cleaned, lubricated and did the setup: the outcome is phenomenal, the machine silky smooth and as quiet as it’s ever been in its 36 year lifespan. In addition to this, the cost was reasonable and Maurizio very professional – highly recommended!

From now on, the care of my x1000r belongs to M2 Circuits!

  4. I came to Maurizio for repair of a Yamaha K1020 cassette deck, and he delivered phenomenal service and communication. He aligned the tape path of the unit and did a electrical alignment to the recording and play functions. The service was solid, could not find an issue with what he did, and I know my unit will be in full service for many enjoyable years of recording and playback of my large tape collection. If one is in need of speedy, professional work at a very affordable price, Maurizio is the guy to get the job done. I will certainly be going back to him in the future if I am in need of any repairs on my other vintage audio gear.

  5. My 1962 Fender Super amp was having power issues, so I took it to Maurizio. He fixed it so well that it sounds better than the day I bought it. Maurizio uses high quality components, and he’ll search until he locates them if necessary. Turnaround time was very fast, too. Maurizio is an old soul in a young man’s body. I highly recommend him. Unsurpassed attention to detail.

  6. Maurizio just saved me about $120 by repairing a set of better quality headphones that failed due to a manufacturer’s design flaw. Good guy, very helpful , agreeable, and he got the job done! Don’t hesitate to have M2 Circuits do your repair work!

  7. Several months ago I had the good fortune to meet Maurizio in order to commission a repair on a late 70’s JVC power amp. The amp’s output was distorted and a relay was failing. I also wanted it completely recapped. I knew this was going to be quite a bit of work and didn’t expect to see it for a few months. After several *weeks* I got the call the amp was ready! The signal was perfectly clean, no relay issues and, as requested, the meter lamps we upgraded to LEDs which looked terrific. The recapping had a profound effect on the audio: it sounded better than ever!
(The lamp holders were a ‘mess’ so they were rebuilt to spec.) All replaced components were returned and even the power cord was properly wound and tied for transport. This alone made me realise  no detail was too small to ignore.
I’m somewhat of a tech myself having personally owned high end recording gear for decades. Also, I worked in film/TV post production for 25 years so I’ve dealt with some of the best (and worst) in Toronto.

M2 Circuits is one of the best!

Maurizio is a very skilled and talented technician. Everything from emails to phone calls are handled in a superior, professional manner. I can attest to the fact his pricing is very fair and invoices are extremely accurate. (No hidden costs or ‘surprises.’ ) I highly recommend this organization for precision work.

  8. I had been hunting for someone to repair my old TEAC reel to reel tape deck along with a Yamaha dual cassette deck and Marantz integrated amp. I lucked on Maurizio’s ad and have to say that I’m really glad I did. He fixed all these items and they are now working like new. Couldn’t be more pleased. The service was friendly, technically excellent, reasonably quick and very well priced. I have no reservations about recommending M2 Circuits.
